perfect hotel location and services for activities near Yaga Park
1. extremely convenient to Duckling Playground at Yaga Park, Huanhe S Road. 2. breakfast included with enough options to start your day 3. rooms were clean, spacious, had all the amenities (refrigerator, coffee pot) etc and toiletries provided 4. 2 water bottles everyday staff was friendly, professional, welcoming and absolutely accommodating to those of us that do not speak Chinese and / or needed assistance in anyway.

Well-maintained older hotel. Good value for money.
The room was almost exactly what I expected from the photos. Good sized room. There was even somewhat of a view from the 11th floor (no other buildings right next to the window obstructing the view). Decent selection for the included breakfast including eggs.
The counter staff could have been a little bit more professional when I arrived. The cutlery and the glasses for the breakfast were all noticeably dirty.

Bit out of it in New Taipei. Better in old Taipei.
Breakfast is just inedible - paper cup coffee - stained tablecloth. Guy on reception just could not be more miserable - I phoned twice before arriving as they were supposed to take pre payment - first time he told me to phone back - second time he told me there was no booking - not reassuring when arriving in Taiwan from UK. Room smelt damp and wall behind bed was water stained. No safe no local map
